Dress up in your regalia to get photos in iconic Susquehanna campus locations (Susquehanna University Sign, Seibert Steps, and Kurtz Lane!) This is a great opportunity for individual and group photos. All photos are free of charge and will be available a few weeks after Commencement. Lines will be closed at 3:30 p.m.

First-Generation Pinning Celebration recognizes first-generation college graduates. All are welcome to attend. Please ensure you are registered for the event by Monday, May 4 if you wish to be recognized during the event.

Senior Champions Reception recognizes graduates who have exemplified Susquehanna’s traditions of spirit, advocacy and giving. BY INVITATION ONLY!

This festive occasion honors all members of the Class of 2026 and recognizes the winners of departmental, divisional, program and school awards for academic achievement, Alpha Lambda Delta graduates, and Honors Program graduates. The Alumni Association will present its awards to Outstanding Seniors and the Athletics Department will present its awards to the Outstanding Senior Scholar Athletes.

It's time for MANDATORY graduation rehearsal to prepare for the big day tomorrow at Commencement.

Umoja celebrates community and unity — umoja is the Swahili word for “unity.” All are welcome to attend.

Multigenerational Family Pinning Celebration brings graduates and their alumni family members together (by invitation only)

During Commencement season we celebrate many traditions at Susquehanna, including Baccalaureate, an ecumenical and celebratory service for graduates, their families and supporters.

Student speakers, readers and musicians from the graduating class reflect on gratitude and their academic journeys, accompanied by musical performances and the singing of Susquehanna’s alma mater.

Susquehanna’s Baccalaureate is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 8, in Weber Chapel Auditorium.

Commencement is a very special time at Susquehanna, not only for our students, but also for their families and the entire Susquehanna community. It is the culmination of the academic year and the student’s undergraduate experience — a monumental celebration for those who have completed their degree at Susquehanna University.

Join the Class of 2026 for the Beer Tour. Event registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. A Valid ID verifying 21 years or older is required to participate in this event.

Wineries being visited on the tour will be Spyglass Winery and Union Cellars with 2 buses going to Spyglass Winery and 2 buses going to Union Cellars.

Celebrate Cinco De Mayo with your friends and classmates with a DJ! Mocktails, drinks and snacks will be provided. This event includes alcohol – those 21+ will receive a wristband to include one drink per hour.
