Start building real clinical experience this summer!

SU EMS is hosting a How to Become an EMT Workshop on Thursday, April 16th at 6:15 PM in Steele Hall 211, and everyone is welcome to attend, no experience or club membership required.

We’ll go over the EMT certification process, timeline, and exactly how to get started. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and work one-on-one with current SU student EMTs to find summer class options that fit your schedule. We’ll also cover ways to get involved in EMS on campus this fall.

Becoming an EMT is something anyone can pursue, but if you’re pre-health or interested in a future in healthcare, EMT experience is often seen as some of the most valuable clinical experience you can get during undergrad.

Not sure if it’s for you yet? Try a ride-along, open to all SU students, no certifications required.

Running late because of practice or have to leave early for GO class? No worries, drop in whenever!

If you can’t make it, feel free to reach out and we’d be happy to meet with you one-on-one to walk you through everything.

Hope to see you there!
